Nominations are now open for our 2025 “Top Advisors” list, which includes experts who provide advice and counsel regarding national security reviews of foreign investments in the U.S. and abroad. Nominations are due by Feb. 14, 2025.
Here’s the 2024 list if you haven’t seen it yet.
IMPORTANT
A couple of quick notes:
- Editorial — This is an editorial list, and is not paid!
- Free — You do not need to be a Foreign Investment Watch paid subscriber to nominate someone as a “Top Advisor.”
- Criteria — Inclusion is based on myriad criteria, such as experience, reputation, clients served, first-person interviews, references, reader recommendations, articles published, and more, including — most importantly — interactions with Foreign Investment Watch staff.
- Clarification — In other words, nominations are just one of many processes we use to select these “Top Advisors.”
- Weighted Interactions — In most cases, experts made the list because they had numerous interactions with the Foreign Investment Watch Editorial team during the prior 12 months, providing story ideas, article insights, honest feedback, heads-up emails (e.g., “did you hear that…”), on- and off-the-record quotes, real criticism (e.g., “you’re an idiot” … true story), and other communications.
- Disclaimer — Please remember Foreign Investment Watch does not provide legal guidance or advice, and readers should always conduct their own due diligence when considering engaging outside advisors.
